Too much advice. Not enough answers.

If you are looking for answers to fatigue, PMS, hormone changes or ongoing symptoms, you are not alone. We use comprehensive women’s blood testing and expert interpretation to help you understand what is really going on.

You have tried the supplements. You have Googled the symptoms. You have been told it is stress, or that it is normal. But generic wellness rarely gets to the root of what is going on.

At NOA, we interpret your blood test results alongside your symptoms and lifestyle to uncover patterns and build a personalised health journey that supports you now, often and always.

Why women love NOA

“I’d previously done a Hertility test, and while it gave me information, it also left me feeling more anxious and unsure about what to do next. NOA was the complete opposite. It gave me clarity, not confusion.”

Bea (UK)

“I’ve done other personalised nutrition plans, such as ‘Zoe’ in the past but nothing has been as bespoke as this.

This was really clear what I had to do”

Samantha (UK)

“The whole process was easy but detailed. Having the nurse come to my house made it so stress free. Understanding my results was super interesting and the changes suggested to me really doable with my busy schedule.”

Jasmine (UK)

“I have loved my experience with NOA and couldn’t recommend the service more. I am on a mission to become healthier and for my skin to glow, but all the lifestyle diets I have followed in the past have been unsustainable, which is the opposite of NOA..”

Natasha (UK)

“I’ve been able to make immediate changes by taking the specific supplements I need, altering my diet and introducing new habits, which are quickly becoming routine. I’m excited for the follow up blood test to be able to see the difference I’ve been making.”

Joelle (UK)

“Since starting, I’ve already noticed a real improvement in my PMS symptoms — and more importantly, I feel calmer, more informed, and more hopeful about my fertility journey.”

  • Iron, Ferritin, TIBC, Transferrin Saturation

Evaluates iron levels, storage, and transport to prevent deficiencies. This is particularly important for women, as iron levels are often impacted by menstrual blood loss, pregnancy, or dietary factors. This test helps address symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, and low energy.

  • Checks for deficiencies that may cause fatigue, pins and needles, or poor metabolism. This is especially relevant for women on plant-based diets or experiencing low energy levels, as B12 supports mental clarity and overall vitality.

  • Ensures proper red blood cell production and DNA repair. This test is vital for women planning pregnancy, as folate supports fetal development and prevents birth defects. It also helps prevent fatigue and anemia caused by folate deficiency.

  • Tests bone, muscle, and immune health, which is essential for women at risk of osteoporosis. This test is especially important for those with limited sunlight exposure or indoor lifestyles. Vitamin D also supports mental well-being and mood regulation.

  • TSH, Free T4, Free T3, TPO-Ab, TG-Ab

Your thyroid is a small gland that influences your energy, weight, mood, hair, menstrual cycle, and fertility. This panel goes beyond a basic thyroid check — alongside TSH, Free T4, and Free T3, we also test for thyroid antibodies. Understanding the full picture of your thyroid health is an important part of understanding your symptoms.

  • HbA1c

Monitors long-term blood sugar levels to assess diabetes risk. This test is especially relevant for women experiencing fatigue, with a family history of diabetes, or with PCOS, helping to prevent and manage blood sugar-related conditions.

  • ALT

ALT is an enzyme found mainly in the liver. When liver cells are under stress, levels can rise in the blood, making it a useful marker of liver health. The liver plays a central role in hormone processing, detoxification, and nutrient metabolism, so keeping an eye on it matters more than most people realise.

  • Creatinine, eGFR

This test evaluates kidney health and function by measuring creatinine (a waste product) and estimating the glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), which indicates how well your kidneys filter blood. It is essential for identifying kidney damage or reduced kidney function, which can impact overall health and hydration.

  • Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides, TC:HDL Ratio

These five markers together give a complete picture of your cardiovascular health. LDL is often called the "bad" cholesterol, HDL the "good," and triglycerides reflect how your body stores fat from food. The TC:HDL ratio shows the balance between the two, and is often considered a more complete view of heart health than any single number on its own.

  • Oestradiol, LH, FSH, SHBG, Total Testosterone

Your sex hormones are the chemical messengers that control your cycle, fertility, mood, energy, and libido. Testing all five together gives a much fuller picture of what is really going on.

  • The blood test is a venous draw, meaning a qualified healthcare professional takes your sample.

You can choose to have your blood taken:

    •       At home with a mobile phlebotomist

    •       At one of our partner clinics — see our list of clinics here

You select your preferred option at checkout.

For at-home testing, we work with Inuvi's team of mobile phlebotomists. Once you have purchased your plan, Inuvi will contact you directly to arrange a convenient date and time.

If you choose the clinic option, you will be directed to an online booking system with our partner Tuli Health. Please check clinic coverage before making your purchase.

If you have regular menstrual cycles, we recommend booking your test for Day 3 of your cycle. Day 1 is the first day of full menstrual bleeding. If you are using hormonal contraception, you can test on any day. If you do not have periods, you can also test on any day.

  • Once you have purchased your NOA Now plan, you will receive an email with clear instructions on how to book your blood test.

Our standard package includes a clinic-based venous blood draw. You will receive a secure booking link to our partner Tuli Health, where you can select a clinic, date and time that suits you. Please check that you are able to access one of the listed clinic locations before purchasing.

If you choose the nurse visit at-home add-on, our partner Inuvi will contact you directly to arrange a convenient appointment at your home or workplace.

As all NOA plans include hormone testing, you may wish to consider your cycle timing when selecting your appointment date. If you have regular periods, we recommend booking for Day 3 of your cycle. If you do not have periods, you can book for any day that suits you

  • You do not need to fast for this test.

Please ensure you are well hydrated and warm before your appointment, as this can make the blood draw easier.

Only take the test once any temporary illness has fully resolved, as infections can influence certain markers.

On the day of your test:

    •       Attend before using or applying any medications where possible

    •       Avoid vitamin or mineral supplements until after your blood draw

    •       Check the ingredients list of any supplements you take — biotin is found in many multi-nutrient and combination supplements, and should be avoided for at least 48 hours before your test

    •       Avoid vitamin B12 supplements for at least 48 hours prior to testing

    •       Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your test

If biotin, vitamin B12, or any other supplement has been prescribed, please check with your doctor before stopping.

If you use HRT as a gel or spray, please skip your dose on the morning of your test and take it after your blood draw. If you use a patch, we recommend testing on day 2 of your current patch. See the hormone testing section below for more detail.

  • You will receive your results during your 1:1 video consultation with our NOA Nutritionists. It is usually one week from your blood test until your results will be ready. NOA will notify you when it is time to book in your consultation. Following your consultation we will send you a copy of your test results, together with your personalised plan.

  • Your data is securely stored and handled in compliance with privacy laws, including GDPR. It is used solely for creating your wellness plan and is never shared without your consent. For further details see our privacy policy.

  • If you need to change the date, time or cancel your blood test you must adhere to the cancellation policies. If you have selected the at home blood test, you must change your blood test appointment within 48 hours of your booking. If you move or cancel after 48 hours, you will be charged £63 to rebook the appointment.

If you have selected the in clinic blood test (in our standard package) there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you want to change the date, time or cancel the appointment you must do this 24 hours before your booking or you will be charged.
